WHAT IS A FITNESS BOOT CAMP
It's the toughest Fitness Method you'll ever LOVE!!! "Structure & discipline works. People pushed to the point of sweat-streaked exhaustion under the command of hard-nosed certified trainers get real, visible results"

The philosophy of The SVELTE Fitness Boot Camp is Strength, Stamina and Flexibility. The program combines cardiovascular, functional and strength training exercises in a regimented, six-days-a-week program. Three (3) of the days include intense trainer guided 60 minute camp training sessions; the remaining three (3) days are 60+ minutes of self-disciplined cardio based on personal heart rate zone assessments. All trainer guided classes are 60 minutes and the program lasts for 30 days. The program includes a pre-camp and post-camp 9-point body composition analysis, a system detoxification plan, a fat-burning / weight loss meal plan and a heart rate zone and metabolic rate assessment to continually monitor and measure your progress and ensure your success! Our 30-day Boot Camp costs $250 (for World Class 24-Hour Gym members) and $265 (for all others) per month per person. Each Boot Camp requires 6 or more participants. This cost is a significant savings compared to one-on-one personal training, which would be $790 for the same services! The benefits are primarily the same with the exception of the schedule flexibility and the amount of one-one-one attention/focus you receive compared to personal training. Participants can reserve their spot for any of our 30-Day Boot Camps with a $50 deposit. The balance is due 1 week prior to the boot camp along with a physician's authorization to participate. Boot camps are open to men, women and children (14 years and older) of any fitness level.

Camps are conducted outdoors and focus on developing your strength, muscular definition and stamina. Exercises include speed walking, jogging, running, push-ups, sit-ups, crunches, lunges, squats, jumping, bending, stretching, curling, extending and many other single, partner-assisted and body weight exercises.

Running exercises are focused on developing cardio respiratory fitness. Designed for individuals of all abilities, running exercises cater to first time runners as well as marathoners. You will find yourself getting into shape, running faster and further. Our runs are comprised of a mix of steady-paced endurance runs, intervals, hills, and tempo runs all with boot camp flair!

The boot camp is based on Functional Strength Training Concepts (FST). FST is an integrated approach to strength training focused on exercising multiple muscles and joints together instead of working muscles in isolation as with conventional strength training. FST emphasizes the body's core muscles - abdomen and back - as stabilizers.
FST quickly increases power (strength and speed), agility (flexibility, mobility, stability), cardiovascular and respiratory conditioning. To achieve our goals, we will use our own body weight in addition to bands, balls, jump ropes, agility ladders and cones. Some short jogs and/or sprints will also be incorporated. Because of the integration of more muscles into the workout, functional strength training is a very effective and efficient way for losing fat weight. Camp exercises routines are divided into 4 - 1 week periods, each week the routine gets progressively more challenging. Be prepared to amaze yourself!

AN AVERAGE BOOT CAMP DAY

Roll-Call & Weigh-In: Begins 5 minutes before the camp start time. Boot Campers must sign in on the attendance roster and then weigh themselves on a scale and record this weight on the roster.
Warm-Up and Stretch: Boot Campers engage in a 5-minute cardio routine, jog or speed walk, depending on the individual fitness level. After which, the group engages in 5-minutes of trainer instructed stretching.
Extreme Cardio: Campers are instructed into a series of high-impact cardio routines for 15 minutes.
Functional Strength Training: Campers are instructed into a series of muscle building strength training exercises for 20 minutes
Core Strength: Campers engage in 10 minutes of trainer instructed abs/core exercises.
Cool – Down: Campers go through 5 minutes of breathing and stretching exercises to cool the body down and relax the muscles.

Throughout the 4-week period, we reward effort and results with various prizes and recognition methods. At the end of the 30-day Boot Camp period, we have a group celebration. We allow the boot camp participants to agree on the type of celebration they would like to have within the budgetary guidelines.

We offer a BOOT CAMP-FOR-A-DAY PROGRAM, for individuals who aren’t sure if a fitness boot camp is right for them. This allows anyone to try out up to 4 days of boot camp sessions at a cost of $15 a session. Contact us if you would like to try our “Boot Camp-For-A-Day” program to be sure if a fitness boot camp is right for you.
